A Quick Look Around.
The grounds of the seven-acre HQ compound are meticulously maintained. Irrigated regularly, the well-manicured landscaping adds a welcome touch of civilization after a long day in the brush.
Water on this property is unsurpassed. Multiple Carrizo wells capable of pumping up to 350 gallons per minute, are strategically placed throughout the property. An extensive network of underground pipe distributes water to numerous cisterns and water troughs across the ranch, providing ample water to the wildlife. In addition, water can be pumped through miles of buried pipe to several large, deep lakes providing drought proof, aerated water for wildlife and fishing.
Roads Through & Around the Ranch
The ranch has approximately seven miles of county road frontage on the east side of the property and over three miles of frontage on FM 117 on both sides of the road. The main entrance into the ranch is freshly paved all the way from FM 117 to the headquarters – a little over four miles. The ranch also has a well-designed and maintained road system allowing access to all areas of the property.
Exceptional diversity of high-protein native brush, including Blackbrush, Whitebrush, Guajillo, Brasil, Retama, Coma, Guayacan, Granjeno, and Mesquite; just to name a few.
Wildlife / Hunting
Wildlife on the ranch is of excellent quality and very plentiful. The whitetail deer population is unmatched and the quail population has benefited greatly from a roller-chopping/aeration program that began three years ago. There are large numbers of turkey, hog and numerous other species which provide great hunting year round.
Low perimeter and cross fences are all in good condition.
